Qualifications

• Native or near-native Malayalam proficiency with strong reading and writing skills.
• Strong English to follow project guidelines and provide feedback in English.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Malayalam-related language workflows (writing, editing, translation, QA, or AI training).
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs.

Responsibilities

• Quality monitoring: spot-check Malayalam items and provide ongoing feedback.
• Update trainers and QAs on new guidelines and project changes via Discord.
• Respond to trainer/QA questions clearly in Malayalam and English.
• Activate inactive contributors and track availability issues.
• Create and maintain Malayalam project documentation and onboarding materials.
• Lead onboarding and training calls to explain expectations, rubrics, and quality standards.
• Ensure consistent application of Malayalam language guidelines across projects.
