SME Careers, a fast-growing AI Data Services company and subsidiary of SuperAnnotate, is seeking an Urdu Quality Assurance Lead (QAL) for an hourly, remote contractor role. You will review AI‑generated Urdu content and trainer/QA work, evaluate output against project guidelines, and provide precise written feedback to ensure quality and consistency across remote teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urdu or related field.
• Native or near-native Urdu with strong reading and writing.
• 3+ years in Urdu writing/editing/QA, localization, or language-review workflows.
• Strong English to follow project guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Quality monitoring and feedback on Urdu items and guidelines.
• Update trainers and QAs on Discord about new item guidelines and quality expectations.
• Handle Urdu wording, translation fidelity, cultural context, and RTL formatting issues.
• Activate inactive contributors and track availability issues.
• Create and maintain Urdu project documentation including style guides and onboarding materials.
• Schedule and run onboarding/training calls to explain expectations and rubrics.
• Ensure Urdu guidelines are applied consistently across projects.
• Identify quality gaps and propose scalable QA processes for Urdu-language projects.
