SuperAnnotate AI, Inc. is seeking a Kannada Language Specialist (SME) for an hourly, remote contractor role to review AI-generated Kannada content and create high-quality reference material.

You will evaluate outputs for accuracy, grammar, tone, and cultural appropriateness, provide precise feedback in English, and help model answers that demonstrate best Kannada writing practices for AI data training and annotation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Linguistics, Kannada/English Literature, Communications, Journalism, Translation, or related field.
• Native or near-native Kannada proficiency with strong English guidance.
• 3+ years in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism, education, or related language-focused work.
• Experience with AI data training or QA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and quality-check English-to-Kannada translations of ARC science questions, focusing on accuracy and faithfulness.
• Select outcomes and provide brief review comments, preserving meaning, difficulty, terminology, and protected elements.
