Job summary

Reliance Human Resources Consultancy is seeking an experienced mechanical maintenance professional for a cable manufacturing environment in Dubai. The role requires extensive hands-on work with heavy rotating machinery, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and proficiency in fitting, fabrication and welding.

The candidate should read mechanical drawings, perform preventive and breakdown maintenance, and ensure tools are safe and well-maintained.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
• Cable manufacturing experience highly preferred.
• Experience with heavy rotating machinery in a large manufacturing plant.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Skilled in fitting, fabrication, welding and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
• Experience with preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Strong understanding of HSE and 5S practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Carry out fitting, fabrication and welding jobs. Install and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Identify equipment abnormalities and report them promptly.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
• Update maintenance activities in the ERP/Asset Management system.
• Support contractors and maintenance teams when required.
• Preferred Background: Candidates currently or previously working in cable manufacturing companies will be given preference.
