Job summary

iQuest Management Consultants Pvt. Ltd. in Dubai seeks a skilled Maintenance Engineer to perform preventative maintenance on complex industrial equipment, diagnose faults, and execute repairs to minimize downtime.

You will interpret drawings and manuals, document work and parts, and apply expertise in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems. A related technical Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing or heavy industry environment.
Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems.
Certification in relevant areas such as PLC programming, industrial automation, or specific equipment types is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on sophisticated industrial equipment to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues, rapidly restoring equipment to full functionality.
Execute scheduled and unscheduled repairs, meticulously documenting all work performed and parts used.
Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals to guide maintenance and repair procedures.
