Job summary

KBR is seeking a MAC Specialist to serve as the PMC focal point for Monitoring, Automation, and Control activities on an ADNOC PMC project based in Abu Dhabi. You will review ICSS, DCS, PLC, SCADA, ESD, and instrumentation deliverables and coordinate interfaces across Engineering and Operations teams.

With 15+ years in oil & gas and strong knowledge of major control systems, you will support cybersecurity and digitalization efforts, participate in FAT/SAT, and help optimize project performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related discipline.
• Professional certifications in Automation, Control Systems, Cybersecurity, or Digitalization are advantageous.
• Membership in recognized engineering institutions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as PMC focal point for all Monitoring, Automation, and Control system activities across the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables related to ICSS, DCS, PLC, SCADA, ESD, F&G, Instrumentation, and telecommunications systems.
• Monitor EPC Contractor performance and ensure compliance with project requirements, specifications, and international standards.
• Coordinate interfaces between Automation, Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecom, Cybersecurity, and Operations disciplines.
• Review system architecture, control philosophies, cause & effect matrices, logic diagrams, network configurations, and software applications.
• Evaluate and approve vendor documents, technical submittals, material requisitions, and package vendor designs.
• Participate in HAZOP, SIL assessments, FAT, SAT, IFAT, and integrated system testing activities.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and digital asset management requirements.
• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, start-up, and performance testing.
