Job summary

Emirates Investment Authority in Abu Dhabi is seeking an M&A Manager who will assist the M&A Director in delivering cross-sector transactions as part of the strategic assets team. You will lead deal execution, build financial models, assess strategic and financial aspects, and coordinate with risk, legal, and finance teams while presenting to the Investment Committee.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or Economics (preferred)
• MBA or master's degree preferred
• 10 years’ experience in deal making (Investment Banking M&A or Private Equity)
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
• Strong presentation skills; ability to influence management and boards
• Regional experience in Middle East preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage the execution of M&A transactions
• Formulate investment theses and perform strategic/financial/legal assessments to reach go/no-go decisions
• Build financial models and conduct valuation analysis
• Develop framework for synergy assessment
• Prepare internal memos and Investment Committee presentations
• Lead all aspects of transaction execution, including risk, legal and finance liaison
• Negotiate with target and shareholders
• Provide reporting to CSAO and Investment Committee
• Coordinate with sector teams and advisors
• Oversee commercial due diligence with advisors
• Develop deal pipeline and network with financial advisors and PE players
