Siemens Energy is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel for its Grid Technology division to support the Middle East region and beyond. You will negotiate and manage complex contracts, provide pragmatic legal advice, and help safeguard the company's strategic energy projects.

You will work with a diverse, global team to ensure compliance with international standards, lead risk assessments, and train stakeholders on legal processes.

Qualifications

• Multiple years in a legal department of an international company or reputable law firm.
• Proven track record in managing legal risks in complex transactions and providing pragmatic advice.
• Deep knowledge of contract law and international practices; leading strategic negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor on legal matters related to commercial, trade, and contract law for Siemens Energy’s Grid Technology Business in the Middle East.
• Analyze tenders and contracts, providing proactive advice and participating in negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations.
• Support execution and claim management, engaging external law firms in dispute resolution.
• Contribute to the standardization and digitalization of contracts while collaborating within the global legal community.
• Develop and deliver training to educate key stakeholders on legal processes.
