Job summary

TalentOne in Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks a Senior Learning & Development Officer to lead the Learning & Development strategy, employee capability development, and leadership programmes aligned with business needs.

The role requires 6–8 years of L&D experience, including 2+ years in a senior or leadership position, with strengths in instructional design, training facilitation, and competency development. You will drive TNA, design training, manage LMS, and monitor L&D KPIs.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of Learning & Development experience.
• 2+ years in a senior or leadership role.
• Experience in instructional design, training facilitation, competency development, and leadership development.
• Strong stakeholder management, project management, communication, and analytical skills.
• CIPD, SHRM, ATD, CPTD, or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Learning & Development strategy, annual training calendar, and training budget.
• Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and identify employee skill and competency gaps.
• Design and coordinate technical, behavioural, leadership, and compliance training using instructional design principles.
• Build competency frameworks, learning pathways, and leadership development programmes.
• Support succession planning, talent development, coaching, and mentoring.
• Manage onboarding, external training providers, and LMS administration where applicable.
• Evaluate training effectiveness, maintain learning records, and report L&D KPIs.
