Deutsche Bank AG seeks two conscientious Tech Engineers for an engineering-focused role in Dubai, delivering sustainable regulatory compliance through technology automation. You’ll join a cross-functional agile delivery team, contribute to architectural decisions, and take ownership of software delivery from analysis to production support.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Java, the JVM, object orientation and SOLID principles.
• Significant development experience in an agile environment with modern engineering practices.
• Extensive knowledge in modern Javascript frameworks (React, Angular, HTML5, Bootstrap, Node.js) and REST.
• Experience of Docker and Kubernetes and modern build tools (Maven, Jenkins).
• Proficiency with CI/CD to deliver changes quickly and safely.
• Understanding of Business Canvas models and prioritisation techniques (RICE, MoSCoW, Value vs Effort).
• Experience in Financial Services environments, especially KYC onboarding and Customer Master Data Management.
• Architecture approaches like Domain Driven Design, CQRS, Event Sourcing and Microservices.
• Deep knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Strong soft skills; a culture of learning; mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a delivery team to understand requirements, refine stories, design solutions, implement and support production.
• Drive prioritisation of User Stories and Backlog to align with architecture.
• Write clean, testable code and collaborate with users, analysts, developers and testers using TDD.
• Define and evolve component architectures; contribute to department-wide decisions.
• Ensure software is reliable and easy to support in production; participate in on-call rotations.
• Help the team achieve faster release cycles with highly automated Continuous Delivery.
