Job summary

Vantari is hiring on behalf of an advanced technology client in Abu Dhabi for an experienced Java Software Engineer to design and develop backend systems for next-generation cellular and secure communication platforms.

You will work in a high-performance team, applying Domain-Driven Design, Reactive patterns, and actor-based architectures, with a strong focus on CI/CD, testing, and delivery in Agile environments.

Qualifications

• BSc or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Java and Kotlin software development.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and develop backend cellular/secure comms solutions.
• Design and implement backend systems using DDD, Reactive architectures and actor-based systems.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with unit, integration, and E2E tests.
• Build scalable, message-based, high-performance backend services.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product managers to deliver robust solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and Agile practices.
