Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Resident Engineer to lead construction supervision for ATMS enhancements and C-ITS/C-V2X system integration in the UAE. You will manage daily activities, coordinate with contractors and stakeholders, and ensure on-time delivery within budget and safety standards.

The role requires a senior engineer with 10+ years of post-graduate experience, strong leadership, and experience in ITS central systems, software deployment, testing, and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics/computer/telecommunications/software engineering or related field.
• 10+ years post-graduate experience with at least 7 years in a managerial or technical lead role in large-scale ITS/ATMS/Smart Mobility projects in the UAE.
• Experience handling technical and financial proposals, evaluating systems integration, software deployment, testing and commissioning.
• Hands-on ATMS/ITS central systems, systems integration, software deployment, testing and commissioning.
• Proven experience managing systems implementation projects.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple contractors, government entities and authorities.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction, system deployment, software implementation, integration and testing activities to ensure successful execution.
• Direct project teams including Specialists, Engineers, Inspectors, Testing & Commissioning personnel, and Quantity Surveyors.
• Ensure all construction, installation, software deployment, integration and commissioning activities meet quality, safety, and budget requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, system integrators, software vendors, and maintenance teams for smooth execution.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, Final System Design Documents, testing docs, software deliverables.
