Job summary

eMinds is seeking a Sr. Engineer – IP Planning to join the network engineering team in Abu Dhabi. You will lead IP network capacity planning, architecture, optimization, and long-term infrastructure planning to ensure reliability and scalability.

You should have strong IP/MPLS planning experience, CCIE certification, and a background in telecom/service provider or large-scale enterprise environments. The role emphasizes collaboration with Design, Operations, and vendors to deliver projects.

Qualifications

• CCIE Certification – Mandatory.
• CCIE Service Provider (SP) preferred.
• CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure (EI) also considered.
• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of IP Network Planning/Architecture experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform IP network capacity planning and architecture activities to improve KPIs, service performance, and customer experience.
• Analyze network utilization, traffic trends, capacity requirements, and bottlenecks to mitigate failures.
• Develop and implement short-term and long-term network development and expansion plans.
• Coordinate with Design, Operations, Vendors, and internal teams for optimal utilization.
• Review architecture and recommend enhancements, upgrades, and optimization initiatives.
• Support CAPEX planning and maintain financial control of network projects.
• Prepare technical reports, HLD/LLD, capacity reports, and management presentations.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve scalability, resiliency, and service availability.
