Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design or related field.
• Strong experience in Interior Design and FF&E.
• Experience in a senior design position.
• Portfolio demonstrating high-end residential, hospitality or luxury interiors.
• Excellent knowledge of furniture, lighting, materials and suppliers.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; SketchUp or similar 3D tools.
• Strong communication and project delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of interior design concepts from brief to completion.
• Create mood boards, material palettes and presentation packages.
• Manage FF&E specifications, schedules and procurement.
• Source furniture, lighting, fabrics and finishes.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers and procurement teams.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Interior / FF&E Designer to join a leading interior design company based in Dubai.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing high-end interior concepts, selecting and specifying FF&E, managing design packages and ensuring projects are delivered to a high creative and technical standard.

This role requires a strong design eye, excellent knowledge of materials and finishes, and the ability to work across multiple projects from concept through to final installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of interior design concepts from initial brief through to completion
• Create mood boards, material palettes, furniture concepts and presentation packages
• Manage and develop FF&E specifications, schedules and procurement selections
• Source furniture, lighting, fabrics, finishes, accessories and bespoke items
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers and procurement teams
• Prepare detailed design documentation and presentation material
• Develop layouts, furniture plans and design schemes
• Review samples, finishes, materials and product specifications
• Manage design quality and ensure consistency with the overall project concept
• Work closely with architects, interior designers, technical teams and project managers
• Attend client presentations and confidently communicate design concepts
• Liaise with contractors, consultants and suppliers during project delivery
• Review shop drawings, technical submissions and material approvals where required
• Support site inspections and installation to ensure design intent is maintained
• Mentor junior designers and support the wider design team
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced design environment

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a related discipline
• Strong experience in Interior Design and FF&E
• Previous experience in a senior design position
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-end residential, hospitality or luxury interior projects
• Excellent knowledge of furniture, lighting, materials, finishes and suppliers
• Strong understanding of design development and project delivery
• Experience producing FF&E schedules and specification packages
• Confident presenting concepts to clients and senior stakeholders
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of SketchUp, 3D software or other design platforms would be advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and excellent visual awareness
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

salary budget: 20-25,000 AED per month + visa + medical + flights
