Job summary

Sutherland in the United Arab Emirates seeks a senior Business Analyst (10+ years) with deep Insurance domain expertise to drive digital transformation and process improvement across insurance operations.

You will gather and document business requirements, develop BRD/FRD and user stories, collaborate with Product Owners and developers, lead change management, and promote Agile practices to deliver measurable results. Strong stakeholder management and relocation to UAE are essential.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Insurance domain.
Experience in Insurance Digital Transformation projects.
Strong understanding of Insurance processes, products and workflows.
Requirements gathering, business process analysis and process modelling.
Experience with BRD, FRD, Functional Requirements and User Stories.
Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience working with Product Owners, Developers and cross-functional teams.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience in Change Management and Impact Assessment.
Ability to translate business requirements into functional/technical specifications.
Excellent analytical, presentation and facilitation skills.
Middle East/GCC Insurance experience is highly preferred.
Willingness to relocate to UAE is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to identify opportunities for digital transformation and process improvement within the insurance domain.
Analyse existing systems, processes and workflows to identify bottlenecks and improvement areas.
Gather, analyse and document business requirements for digital solutions.
Develop business requirements, functional specifications and user stories aligned with business objectives.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, Product Owners and development teams to drive project implementation.
Lead change management activities for digital transformation initiatives.
Conduct impact assessments and stakeholder analysis.
Develop communication plans, training materials and workshops to support change adoption.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of transformation initiatives.
Champion Agile/Scrum methodologies and promote continuous improvement.
Facilitate workshops, discussions and stakeholder meetings.
Collaborate with Product Owners and development teams to prioritize and refine user stories.
Drive retrospectives, feedback sessions and continuous Agile process improvements.
