Job summary

GIS MIC in the United Arab Emirates seeks a senior I&C Engineering Lead to steer instrumentation, control, and telecom activities for large EPC oil and gas projects. You will manage deliverables, ensure compliance with TE standards, and coordinate with process, electrical, civil, and piping teams to keep interfaces smooth.

You will review designs, approve docs, and drive safe-by-design practices while mentoring less experienced engineers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering with understanding of process controls.
Minimum 8 years of I&C engineering experience in large-scale Oil & Gas projects.
At least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing I&C activities in EPC environments.
Strong knowledge of instrumentation, control, telecom engineering practices.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate I&C engineering activities for the Network WellPads and Pipelines package.
Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, specifications and docs.
Ensure compliance with project standards, regulatory requirements, and TE quality/HSE.
Manage engineering deliverables including the Master Document Register.
Coordinate with Process, Pipeline, Electrical, Civil & Structural, Mechanical teams.
Act as main contact for I&C engineering matters with contractors and suppliers.
