Job summary

Wood is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Engineer (Packages and Field Instruments) to lead the detailed design and implementation of instrumentation systems for ADNOC projects in Abu Dhabi. You will drive automation strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.

This on-site role offers exposure to complex upstream and midstream hydrocarbons projects, with a focus on decarbonization and energy transition

Qualifications

• Experience in detailed design of instrumentation for large oil and gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement advanced instrumentation systems for industrial processes.
• Enhance system performance and efficiency through automation and control strategies.
• Ensure instrumentation adheres to applicable industry standards and regulations.
• Diagnose and resolve instrumentation issues to minimize downtime.
• Lead instrumentation projects, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and manage budgets.
• Research and integrate new technologies to improve system capabilities.
