Job summary

emagine in Dubai seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to optimize and secure the IT backbone across Linux, Windows, and cloud platforms. You will manage health, patch cycles, automation, and cybersecurity integrations in an agile environment.

With 10+ years of infrastructure experience, you will design scalable solutions, maintain AD and network security, and document architectures while coordinating with cross-functional teams in English (Arabic helpful).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information security/IT.
• 10+ years of experience with IT infrastructure and servers.
• Relevant infrastructure certifications.
• Strong Microsoft domain and Active Directory knowledge.
• Strong Linux administration skills.
• Experience with firewalls and WAFs.
• Experience with virtualization like VMware.
• Excellent documentation and diagramming skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic knowledge advantageous.

Summary

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for managing and optimizing the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and efficient operation across various systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health and availability management of all systems/components.
• Troubleshoot issues with existing servers and applications in Linux and Microsoft environments.
• Perform cycle patching and urgent/critical patch deployment across all systems/components.
• Regularly update systems with security patches and submit monthly reports.
• Provide support for the MSS IT infrastructure.
• Manage policy/configuration management and optimization of all systems/components.
• Develop and document internal IT infrastructure.
• Perform weekly/monthly/quarterly tasks and reporting.
• Manage virtualization environments and backup solutions.
• Build and manage infrastructure in public clouds (Azure & OCI).
• Automate various operational tasks for platform upkeep.
• Automate provisioning of new customers and services across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Provide expertise in integrating and administering Linux and Windows Platforms.
• Integrate cybersecurity technologies in an agile environment.
• Support the continuous testing, integration, and deployment of platforms.
• Assist with onboarding, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and remediation.
• Build new cybersecurity services platform to support services.

Must Haves
