Job summary

Kitopi, a leading regional food-tech company, is seeking an experienced Sous Chef for its Indian kitchen. You will supervise daily operations, oversee tandoor cooking, and ensure high standards of taste, presentation, and portion control.

With 5–7 years in Indian cuisine and hands-on tandoor expertise, you will train and lead CDPs and junior cooks, uphold HACCP and food safety, and collaborate with the Head Chef on menus in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in Indian cuisine, preferably at Sous Chef level.
• Strong hands-on Tandoor experience is essential.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Indian kitchen and Tandoor operations.
• Prepare and oversee authentic Indian dishes, with a focus on Tandoor cooking.
• Train and supervise CDPs, Commis Chefs, and kitchen team members.
• Monitor food quality, stock, wastage, and kitchen hygiene.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, and company standards.
• Coordinate with the Head Chef on menu execution and daily production.
