Responsibilities

  • Independently manage assigned visa and consular cases from initiation to completion.
  • Provide clear, accurate guidance to clients and internal stakeholders on visa requirements and processes.
  • Monitor workflows to ensure SLAs and client expectations are met.
  • Maintain complete, accurate case records across CRM and firm systems.
  • Prepare and support submissions of applications and client deliverables.
  • Identify service delivery issues and escalate appropriately.
  • Conduct independent research and provide recommendations to Managers and clients.
  • Support workflow oversight and quality control across the team.
  • Mentor and train junior analysts and consultants to strengthen knowledge and capability.
  • Collaborate across teams and regions for consistent service delivery.
  • Ensure invoicing and case closure is completed timely.

Job description

Job Description Role Objective The Senior Consultant is responsible for independently managing a portfolio of visa and consular matters while supporting Supervisors and Managers in the successful delivery of the team’s overall output. The role requires strong technical knowledge, sound judgment and ownership in handling standard, complex and high-profile cases, ensuring that client expectations, service level agreements, compliance requirements and internal processes are consistently met. In addition to direct case management, the Senior Consultant acts as a trusted point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, provides practical and commercially aware guidance, supports escalation management and contributes to workflow oversight, quality control, system discipline and continuous process improvement. The role is also expected to mentor junior team members, share knowledge and support a culture of accountability, collaboration and service excellence.

Key responsibilities
  • Independently manage assigned visa and consular cases from initiation to completion, ensuring accuracy, compliance, timeliness and adherence to client-specific requirements.
  • Provide clear, accurate and practical guidance to clients and internal stakeholders on visa requirements, application processes, documentation, timelines and case-related risks.
  • Manage complex, high-profile or sensitive matters with appropriate oversight, exercising sound judgment and escalating risks or issues with recommended solutions.
  • Monitor allocated workflows and priorities to ensure service level agreements, client expectations and internal turnaround times are met or exceeded.
  • Maintain complete and accurate case records across CRM, Connect and other firm systems, ensuring key updates, milestones, benchmarks and communications are recorded within required timelines.
  • Prepare, review and support the submission of applications, correspondence and client deliverables, ensuring a high standard of quality, clarity and professionalism.
  • Proactively identify service delivery issues, client concerns or process gaps, take ownership of initial resolution steps and elevate appropriately where required.
  • Conduct independent research on complex, urgent or non-standard matters and provide clear recommendations to Managers, Supervisors, clients or case teams.
  • Support Supervisors and Managers with workflow oversight, quality control, case allocation, service recovery, business reviews and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor, guide and train junior consultants, visa coordinators and other team members to strengthen technical knowledge, process discipline and overall team capability.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across teams, regions and service centres to ensure consistent service delivery, effective handovers and alignment with client protocols.
  • Ensure invoicing and case closure activities are completed accurately and in a timely manner in line with internal procedures.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Nomadic’s processes, systems capabilities, company policies and relevant visa and consular requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, case tracking, client experience and operational consistency.
  • Undertake additional duties, projects or responsibilities as reasonably required by the Manager or Supervisor.
