Job summary

Eurofragance in Dubai is seeking a chemist to analyze fragrances by GCMS for a range of consumer products, including Fine Fragrance, Personal Care, Air Care and Household. You will support fragrance formulation and dosage determination alongside our perfumers.

With a Bachelor in Chemistry and about four years’ fragrance industry experience, you’ll join an international team and gain exposure to perfumery raw materials, GC/MS analysis, and GC/MS/FID equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Chemistry, ideally with specialization in chemical analysis.
• Around 4 years’ working experience in the Fragrance Industry with exposure to perfumery raw materials and/or fragrances, and with previous experience in GC/MS analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze fragrances (by GCMS) in a variety of consumer products such as in Fine Fragrance, Personal Care, Air Care and Household
• Work on fragrance formulation/reconstitution with the help of perfumers.
• Determine the fragrance dosage of Fine Fragrance samples.
• Extract fragrances from personal care & household products
• Analyze perfumery raw materials and update internal database
• Run maintenance of the GC/MS/FID equipment
• Interact with internal departments such as Perfumery, Compounding Laboratory, Application, QC, R&D & Evaluation

What you need to shine in this role
