Zusammenfassung

NES Fircroft seeks an experienced Instrument Engineer (IC&T) in Dubai for a major upstream oil and gas development project. You will provide technical leadership across Instrumentation, Control and Telecom engineering activities, ensuring safety by design and on-time delivery.

You will lead a multi-discipline IC&T team, review contractor designs, participate in HAZOP/SIL/SIF workshops, and manage interfaces with Drilling, EIW, CPF, and procurement.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering.
• 8+ years IC&T engineering experience.
• 5+ years leadership experience.
• Oil & Gas project experience.
• EPC project experience.
• Strong Instrument, Control and Telecom knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to identifying safe by design opportunities to eliminate, avoid, reduce, or mitigate HSE risks during construction.
• Lead and manage the IC&T engineering team to ensure all activities are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
• Ensure IC&T engineering documentation produced by the contractor is fit for purpose.
• Review and approve IC&T engineering designs, drawings and specifications to verify they meet project requirements and regulatory standards.
• Support management of interfaces with other entities including Drilling, EIW, AGUP1 and CPF.
• Participate in technical bid evaluations, including vendor clarifications.
• Participate in HAZOP, SIL, and SIF identification workshops.
• Participate in FATs as required.
• Manage design changes with proper evaluation and communication.
• Collaborate with Process, Electrical, Civil & Structural, Technical Safety, Mechanical, and Piping teams to integrate quality and safety into IC&T work.
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Address IC&T issues promptly and communicate solutions to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain IC&T engineering quality standards.
• Coordinate with Quality Lead to ensure compliance.
• Act as primary Company contact for IC&T matters with contractors and suppliers.
• Provide IC&T support to procurement and construction teams to align through project phases.
• Identify opportunities to improve IC&T processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
