Job summary

MPH CONSULTING SERVICES JLT is seeking an experienced Instrument Engineer for a Dubai-based role with missions in Iraq. The position involves leading IC&T engineering activities for a large EPC project, ensuring quality and compliance from design through delivery.

The candidate should have 8+ years in IC&T, 5 years in leadership, a Bachelors in Instrumentation Engineering, and ideally PE certification, with English fluency and Arabic/Chinese as assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering is required.
• Minimum 8 years in IC&T engineering practice, preferably in oil and gas.
• 5 years in a leadership role overseeing IC&T activities including EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Instrument Control and Telecom (IC&T) engineering activities for the PROJECT Phase 2 Network WellPads and Pipelines package.
• Ensure quality of IC&T deliverables per project requirements and standards.
• Coordinate between engineering disciplines to facilitate seamless project execution.
• Maintain compliance with project technical and safety standards across IC&T activities.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Manager Construction team and discipline engineers to ensure timely completion of IC&T tasks.

Job description

We are looking for an Instrument Engineer with the following details Location Dubai UAE with missions to Iraq Work Scheme Residential Duration 1 year renewable Start Date December 2026

Main Missions

• Oversee all Instrument Control and Telecom IC T engineering activities to ensure successful project delivery for the PROJECT Phase 2 Network WellPads and Pipelines package
• Ensure the quality of IC T engineering deliverables aligns with project requirements and standards
• Coordinate between engineering disciplines to facilitate seamless project execution
• Maintain compliance with project technical and safety standards throughout all IC T activities
• Collaborate closely with the NWP Engineering Manager Construction team and Engineering discipline engineers to ensure timely completion of IC T related tasks

Professional Experience

• Minimum 8 years in IC&T engineering practice, preferably in large-scale oil and gas sector.
• 5 years in a leadership role overseeing IC&T engineering activities including geotechnical and topographical surveys, particularly in EPC projects.
• Strong technical understanding of IC&T engineering practices
• Proven ability to lead IC&T engineering, manage design changes and deliver high-quality engineering solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or Chinese is considered an asset.
