Job summary

Worley seeks a Principal Instrumentation and Control Engineer to lead ICSS design for major oil and gas projects in Abu Dhabi. You will guide engineering teams, ensure IEC/IEEE standards, review vendor bids and drive compliant design deliverables.

The role requires deep expertise in ICSS, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and on-site coordination in a high-stakes environment to deliver safe reliable systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years in Concept FEED and Detail Engineering for onshore/downstream Oil & Gas projects.
• Experience designing ICSS for Oil & Gas projects.
• Experience in ISO ADNOC/IEEE/NFPA/IEC standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee instrumentation and control systems for oil & gas projects.
• Develop ICSS design concepts for greenfield and brownfield scopes.
• Review vendor offers and prepare technical bid evaluations for ICSS items.
• Supervise IC engineering teams, designers and technicians.
• Ensure design deliverables meet project requirements and standards.
