Job summary
KBR is seeking a Sr. Construction Engineer (AOI) – I&C-2 for a marquee offshore ADNOC PMC project based in Abu Dhabi with relocation to offshore site on rotation. The role coordinates, supervises and ensures I&C construction, pre-commissioning and AOI activities within live facilities.
The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of offshore I&C construction experience, 5+ years in senior AOI coordination, and familiarity with brownfield works, safety standards, and handover processes.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in I&C construction for offshore Oil & Gas.
- 5+ years in a senior construction or AOI coordination role.
- Experience in brownfield modifications and operational integration.
- Experience working in live offshore facilities.
- Familiarity with shutdowns, tie-ins, and HSE standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise I&C construction activities offshore, ensuring conformance to drawings, procedures, and schedules.
- Act as focal point for AOI coordination between project teams, operations and construction.
- Oversee installation of field instrumentation, controls, and associated systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA).
- Support planning, risk assessments, readiness reviews, and handover activities.
- Promote HSE compliance, incident investigations, and QA documentation.
