Job summary
AtkinsRéalis in Abu Dhabi is seeking a senior professional to supervise construction and installation activities for AIS/GIS substations 132 kV and above. You will ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and safety standards, while witnessing tests and coordinating with contractors and clients to keep projects on schedule.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 10+ years in substation projects, including AIS/GIS, testing, commissioning, and construction supervision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
- 10+ years of experience in substation projects, with significant exposure to 132 kV and above substations.
- Experience in AIS/GIS substations, testing & commissioning, and construction supervision.
Responsibilities
- Supervise construction and installation activities for AIS/GIS substations (132 kV and above).
- Monitor erection of transformers, switchgear, CTs, VTs, isolators, protection panels, SCADA, and associated equipment.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and HSE requirements.
- Witness testing and commissioning activities and review test reports.
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and project teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Monitor project progress and prepare site reports.
- Identify and resolve technical and construction issues at site.
