Job summary
Confidential Company is an EPC Engineering contracting firm seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with expertise in 132kV GIS AIS Substation Projects. The ideal candidate will execute and supervise electrical construction activities while ensuring compliance with project specs, utility standards, quality requirements, and HSE regulations.
The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 7+ years in 132kV GIS/AIS Substation Projects, with hands-on LSP works.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 7+ years in 132kV GIS/AIS Substation Projects.
- LSP Works hands-on experience is mandatory.
- Experience in Utility, T&D, Power Infrastructure or EPC.
- GCC/UAE experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Execute and supervise electrical works for 132kV GIS AIS Substation Projects.
- Coordinate and manage LSP Works and utility interface activities.
- Review electrical drawings and construction documents.
- Supervise installation of GIS AIS equipment, transformers and switchgear.
- Coordinate cable laying, termination, testing and commissioning.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and progress.
- Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, Procurement and Project teams.
- Ensure compliance with specs, standards, quality and HSE rules.
- Prepare construction progress reports and support handover.
