Job summary

Dutco Group is seeking an HSE Officer to ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance on piling works in Abu Dhabi. The role involves developing policies, conducting inspections, investigating incidents, and delivering training to sites and subcontractors.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree, NEBOSH certification, and at least 8 years of total experience with 4–5 years in UAE piling projects. Lead Auditor certification is a plus, with strong communication and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; any degree acceptable.
• NEBOSH certification required and attested.
• Lead Auditor certification is preferred.
• 8+ years total experience, with 4–5 years in piling works in the UAE.
• In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations for construction and piling.
• Proficiency in risk assessments and implementing control measures.
• Strong communication and training delivery skills.
• Ability to conduct accident investigations and preventive actions.
• Familiarity with emergency procedures and maintaining safety records.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures for piling works.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards and risks.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide HSE training to employees and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure HSE requirements are met on piling projects.
