Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Safety Officer in Abu Dhabi, UAE to implement HSE policy, monitor performance, and drive safety improvements on infrastructure projects. You will liaise with the Safety Manager and contractors, ensure safety measures are followed, and review hazard analyses and incident reports to prevent reoccurrence.

The role requires a degree or diploma in engineering or related field, plus 5+ years of HSE experience and UAE certifications (NEBOSH/OSHAD).

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or relevant discipline.
• 5+ years in Health and Safety within infrastructure projects.
• Recognized HSE education/certifications (NEBOSH, OSHAD, etc).
• Able to attend in-person interviews in UAE.

Responsibilities

• Implement HSE policy and plan; monitor performance and targets.
• Liaise with Safety Manager and contractors to improve HSE management ethics.
• Monitor contractors for safety measures and best practices.
• Review hazard analyses and risk assessments; monitor control measures.
