Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking an experienced HSE leader to oversee safety at construction sites in the United Arab Emirates. The role requires a strong background in construction safety, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to drive safety performance across contractors and teams.

The ideal candidate holds NEBOSH/IOSH certifications, a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in a related field, and at least eight years’ experience in HSE within oil & gas, construction, or manufacturing

Qualifications

Relevant HSE certifications and strong safety background in construction or oil & gas.
Experience leading HSE audits and inspections.
Proven ability to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise safety inspections at construction sites
Ensure compliance with applicable HSE requirements, regulations and standards
Identify safety hazards and assess risks, especially in construction environments
Monitor contractors' safety performance and recommend corrective actions
Investigate incidents, identify root causes and follow up on corrective actions
Prepare inspection reports, safety observations and HSE performance reports
Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors and authorities
Conduct safety awareness sessions and promote a strong safety culture
