Job summary

Arabian Construction Company seeks a Senior Safety Officer to oversee HSE compliance on a high-rise project. You will support risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety training, ensuring adherence to local regulations and client requirements.

Responsibilities include site inspections, reporting, coordinating with safety representatives, and driving a strong safety culture. A minimum of 10 years in construction HSE plus NEBOSH and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/ diploma in HSE or related field. Multiple certifications listed below are mandatory or preferred.
• NEBOSH General Certificate (or NVQ6 equivalent) required.
• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor qualification required.
• OSHA 10–30 Hours or equivalent HSE training preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years of HSE experience in construction/high-rise projects.

Responsibilities

• Support and monitor HSE compliance across construction sites, implementing safety requirements.
• Conduct inspections/audits, assist risk assessments, investigations, and safety culture improvements.
• Maintain safety files, registers, and monthly reports toProject/Group HSE Office; stop-work on non-compliance.
• Collaborate with safety reps from consultants, subcontractors, and vendors; communicate findings to management.
• Assist in emergency drills, hazard reviews, and coordination with medical teams and logistics for safety.
