Job summary

LT-Larsen & Toubro in Dubai seeks an experienced HSE Lead to align HSSE goals with project objectives and regulatory requirements. The role includes leading investigations, risk mitigation, and developing training programs for personnel, contractors, and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate brings NEBOSH Diploma, GCC experience, and 10+ years in power/desalination or O&G construction, with PV project exposure preferred. You will drive a strong safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety and/or nationally recognized certification.
• ≥ 10 years in power/desalination plant, O&G construction.
• GCC experience is required.
• Preferable to have PV project experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure alignment of HSSE goals with project objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with local, national, and international HSE regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with regulatory authorities to ensure project adherence to all safety and environmental requirements.
• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.
• Lead investigations into HSE incidents, accidents, and near misses.
• Identify root causes, recommend corrective actions, and ensure lessons learned prevent recurrence.
• Develop and implement HSE training programs for project personnel, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Promote a strong safety culture and awareness throughout the project.
• Establish emergency response plans and procedures for potential incidents.
• Conduct drills and simulations to test the effectiveness of emergency response measures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance with safety procedures and regulations
