Job summary

Thehseleader in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced HSE leader to ensure full regulatory compliance with Abu Dhabi requirements, including OSHAD SF, ISO 45001 and 14001, and to maintain a safe, secure, and efficient environment at cruise terminals and marinas.

You will lead HSE activities, manage incidents, coordinate with external emergency services, and drive continuous improvement across governance, risk assessments, and contractor oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science/HSE.
• NEBOSH Diploma is mandatory.
• Experience in HSE management for cruise terminals/public infrastructure.
• AD Ports EHS procedures and ISO 45001/14001 familiarity.
• Lead Auditor certificates (OHSAS 18001/ISO 14001) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and control all HSE activities for cruise terminal operations and marina facilities.
• Ensure safe management of embarkation, disembarkation, vessel access, and crowd movement.
• Oversee marina operations including vessel movements, berthing, fueling, and maintenance.
• Manage contractor and third‑party activities with PTW systems and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi regulations and ISO standards (45001/14001).
• Implement MoC for modifications and assess risks prior to changes.
• Lead HSE incident management, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Prepare HSE performance reports for senior management.
• Oversee environmental compliance, waste management, and pollution prevention.
• Develop emergency preparedness and response arrangements; coordinate with Civil Defense and Coast Guard.
• Lead HSE awareness, training, and safety culture initiatives.
