Job summary

Abu Dhabi Ports seeks a senior HSEQ leader to drive the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Cluster HSEQ management framework across vessels, ports and contractors. You will oversee health, safety, environment, quality, security and business continuity, ensuring compliance with IMS/SMS/ISPS and ISO standards.

This role requires 8–10 years of maritime HSEQ experience, strong leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate legislation into practical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field with strong HSEQ foundation.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced responsibilities.
• Lead Auditor certification in ISO 45001/14001/9001 and/or ISO 22301 preferred.
• NEBOSH IGC or IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent HSE qualification required/preferred.
• Experience with maritime safety, security, business continuity or risk management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and technical guidance on all HSEQ matters across departments, vessels and contractors.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HSEQ management systems in line with IMS, SMS, ISPS, MLC, and ISO standards.
• Lead HSEQ risk assessments, audits, incidents, investigations and business continuity planning.
• Monitor HSEQ performance via KPIs, dashboards and reports; recommend corrective actions to senior management.
• Drive HSEQ awareness, training campaigns and a proactive safety culture.
