Job summary

El Sewedy Power UAE Business Group is seeking a Senior HSE Engineer to ensure compliance with TAQA, ADOSH/ADPHC, and project HSE requirements at site in Abu Dhabi. You will implement the HSE Plan, perform risk assessments, PTW management, and lead safety inspections, toolbox talks, and audits.

You will monitor high-risk activities such as electrical, lifting, excavation, and work at height, lead incident investigations, and coordinate with client and project management to drive HSE KPIs and

Qualifications

Minimum 5-7 years of UAE HSE experience in construction, infrastructure, power, electrical or utility projects.
Experience with TAQA/Abu Dhabi utility projects and UAE HSE legislation.
Proven ability to lead investigations and manage HSE performance for subcontractors.

Responsibilities

Ensure full compliance with TAQA, ADOSH/ADPHC, and project HSE requirements at site.
Implement and maintain the Project HSE Plan, procedures, risk assessments and PTW requirements.
Conduct site inspections, safety observations, audits and toolbox talks, closing corrective actions.
Monitor high-risk activities and coordinate with client and project management on KPIs.
Lead incident and near-miss investigations and implement corrective actions.
