Job summary

Azizi Developments in Dubai is seeking an HSE Engineer to implement and monitor Health, Safety and Environmental procedures across construction sites. You will ensure activities comply with HSE plans, risk assessments, method statements, UAE regulations, and safety standards; perform site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks; and lead incident investigations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or HSE, 5–8 years of construction HSE experience in the UAE, NEBOSH IGC or

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or HSE.
5–8 years of HSE experience in the construction industry.
NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or equivalent certification.
Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and Dubai Municipality requirements.
Experience with high-rise construction projects.
Experience monitoring HSE documentation: risk assessments, JSA, PTW.

Responsibilities

Implement and monitor HSE procedures per project requirements.
Ensure compliance with HSE plans, risk assessments, method statements, and UAE regulations.
Conduct site inspections, safety observations, and audits to identify hazards.
Review risk assessments, JSA, method statements, and other HSE documents submitted by contractors.
Monitor PTW systems for high-risk activities.
Identify non-conformities and ensure corrective actions.
Coordinate toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE trainings.
Investigate accidents and near misses and prepare reports and corrective actions.
Monitor contractors for compliance with project HSE requirements.
