Job summary

Tanqeeb requires a Senior HSE Engineer to develop and implement project HSE plans aligned with ADNOC CoP and HSEMS. You will review deliverables from design through commissioning, lead HSE teams and contractors, and drive audits and corrective actions.

The role requires conducting incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and delivering training and emergency drills. The ideal candidate has 11+ years of engineering experience in HSE, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, a Safety

Job description

• Develop and implement Project HSE Plans in line with ADNOC CoP and HSEMS

• Recent Abu Dhabi project experience with ADNOC and local authority compliance

• Conduct HSE risk assessments including HIRA, HAZID, and HSEIA

• Review HSE deliverables across design, construction, and commissioning

• Lead and supervise HSE teams and contractors effectively

• Implement HSEMS, audits, and corrective actions

• Perform incident investigations and root cause analysis

  • Plan and deliver HSE training and emergency drills

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline / Health, Safety or Environmental Sciences or an equivalent.

Diploma in Safety Management or equivalent qualification.

Possession of NEBOSH International General Certificate or Oil and Gas Qualification.

• Minimum 11+ years of experience as an Engineer in the same discipline.

• Must have relevant work experience in Abu Dhabi within the most recent three (3) years.
