Job summary

MENASCO is seeking an experienced HSE Engineer for its UAE project team. The role focuses on conducting site HSE inspections, reviewing risk assessments, and supporting incident investigations within MEP/construction environments.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, NEBOSH IGC, Level 6 HSE qualification or equivalent, and at least five years of HSE experience on high-rise projects, with strong communication and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Level 6 HSE qualification or equivalent.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC).
• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in MEP or construction projects, including high-rise projects.
• Good knowledge of UAE construction HSE requirements and standards.
• Strong communication, reporting, and incident investigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site HSE inspections and monitor compliance with HSE requirements.
• Review risk assessments, method statements, JSA, and Permit-to-Work requirements.
• Investigate incidents and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct HSE awareness programs, toolbox talks, and safety initiatives.
• Maintain HSE reports, records, and compliance documentation.
• Support HSE audits, training, emergency drills, and project HSE activities.
