Job summary

Egis is seeking a highly skilled HSE Engineer to join our Abu Dhabi site team. You will implement HSE plans, lead audits, and ensure compliance on complex construction projects.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in HSE, a related Master’s or Bachelor’s, NEBOSH IGC, OSHAD/ADOSH credentials, and proven experience on high‑rise developments. This is a full‑time, on‑site role emphasizing proactive safety leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of vivid experience in the HSE domain.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in HSE or related field with relevant certifications.
• NEBOSH IGC and OSHAD safety credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Contractors implement and follow the approved HSE Plan and legal requirements.
• Identify project risks and communicate controls to contractors for mitigation.
• Participate in site meetings, including HSE, and lead safety communications.
• Develop and monitor HSE programs, audits, and KPI reporting.
• Support incident investigations and ensure regulatory reporting compliance.
• Prepare and disseminate HSE alerts and maintain project HSE documentation.
• Oversee HSE staff selection and ensure proper contractor HSE performance.
