Overview of the Role The Senior HR Business Partner will operate as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior leaders across Corporate Services. The position combines strategic HR leadership with responsibility for organization design, workforce optimization, talent and succession planning, culture, employee relations, national talent, and people governance. The role requires an experienced HR leader capable of challenging constructively, anticipating workforce risks, guiding organizational change, and translating business priorities into practical people strategies.
People Strategy and Organisation Effectiveness
- Shape and drive people strategy in alignment with organizational priorities.
- Lead organization design, operating model, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
- Advise senior leaders during transformation and organizational change.
- Assess organizational capability and identify opportunities to improve effectiveness.
- Ensure people initiatives support broader business requirements and Al-Futtaim 's strategic direction.
Workforce Strategy and Optimisation
- Lead workforce planning and restructuring activities using workforce insights and analytics to support informed decisions.
- The Senior HR Business Partner will focus on organization shape, workforce productivity, capability requirements, and people costs while helping leadership plan for evolving business needs.
Talent, Leadership and Capability
- Own the talent agenda across the assigned Corporate Services functions.
- Lead talent reviews and succession planning for critical positions.
- Support leadership capability and development decisions.
- Challenge and advise leaders on talent and performance matters.
- Promote development of individuals and teams through effective mentoring and coaching.
Strategic Business Partnering
- Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner to executive management and senior leadership.
- The role will provide proactive guidance, identify emerging people risks, challenge assumptions where appropriate, and influence business decisions through a strong understanding of organizational and workforce priorities.
Employee Relations, Culture and Engagement
- Provide senior-level guidance on complex employee and industrial relations matters.
- Support organizational accountability and a strong performance culture.
- Strengthen employee engagement and overall employee experience.
- Help leadership manage sensitive people matters and associated organizational risks.
- Ensure employee-related decisions remain consistent with applicable policies and business requirements.
Emiratisation and National Talent
- Shape sustainable Emiratisation and national talent strategies covering attraction, development, retention, and succession.
- National talent priorities will be incorporated into broader workforce planning to support long-term organizational capability.
People Governance, Reward and Commercial Stewardship
- Provide senior oversight of HR governance and people-related policies.
- Review reward matters and people costs from both commercial and organizational perspectives.
- Challenge proposals and manage exceptions where required.
- Ensure people decisions are commercially appropriate and aligned with established policies.
- Support disciplined management of workforce investments and related costs.

Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- MBA or CIPD graduate qualification preferred.
- More than 12 years of HR Generalist experience.
- Strong Employee and Industrial Relations expertise.
- Proven experience working as an HR Business Partner.
- Previous experience leading HR teams.
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior and executive leadership.
