Sener is seeking a Senior Engineer – Highways to contribute to the design and delivery of major railway and transportation infrastructure projects in the UAE. The role involves developing highway designs, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with standards on large-scale rail developments.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in highway design, 5+ years in rail projects, and an engineering registration.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Highway Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field.
• Professional Engineering registration or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of highway engineering design experience.
• Minimum 5 years of rail infrastructure project experience.
• Experience in international engineering consultancy environments desirable.
• Proven track record delivering major transportation and infrastructure projects.

Aufgaben

• Develop highway designs and technical deliverables for rail and transportation infrastructure projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, drawings, and design documentation.
• Support project delivery from concept through detailed design stages.
• Coordinate design activities with multidisciplinary teams including rail, civil, structures, geotechnical, drainage, utilities, environmental, and project management.
• Ensure designs comply with project requirements, client specs, and applicable standards.
• Participate in design reviews, technical workshops, and value engineering initiatives.
• Identify technical risks and develop practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and design partners throughout project execution.
• Support QA/QC processes across all project phases.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing.
