Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking an experienced Senior Transport/Roads Design Engineer to join our Abu Dhabi team. You will lead design and delivery of roads, highways, and junctions, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality civil infrastructure solutions.

The role requires a strong background in road geometry, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD, with 10–16 years of relevant experience and at least 5 years in UAE projects. Join us to shape impactful urban infrastructure in the region.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
10-16 years of experience in transport and roads design.
Minimum 5 years of UAE project experience.
Strong experience in road geometry, highways, junctions, and infrastructure design.
Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
Strong client-facing and communication skills.
DMT registration is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of roads and transportation infrastructure projects.
Prepare and review road alignments, junction layouts, and engineering drawings.
Develop road designs using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders.
Ensure designs comply with project requirements and industry standards.
Attend client meetings and support technical reviews.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers.
