Job summary

Danube Group is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Engineer to join our Projects Onsite department in the UAE. You will oversee planning, execution, and delivery of high-rise construction projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and quality standards.

Ideal candidate brings a strong civil engineering background with a proven track record in UAE high-rise developments. You will mentor junior engineers and coordinate design, procurement, and construction teams to achieve project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
• 10–12 years of experience in high‑rise construction within the UAE.
• Demonstrated experience managing full‑life‑cycle construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings and specifications.
• Hands‑on experience with site safety management and quality control.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• Professional engineering license (e.g., UAE PE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all phases of high‑rise construction projects from inception to handover.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Supervise on‑site engineering teams, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Facilitate coordination between design, procurement, and construction teams.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to verify workmanship and material quality.
• Manage change orders, variations, and contract administration.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in project execution.
