Job summary

National Reference Laboratory (NRL) in the UAE seeks a highly experienced Consultant Hematopathologist to deliver expert diagnostic services across hematological and lymphoid disorders in a reference laboratory setting.

You will integrate morphology, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, cytogenetics, and molecular findings into precise reports, participate in MDT discussions, and contribute to quality assurance, teaching, and protocol standardization.

Qualifications

• Must hold medical degree with hematopathology certification.
• Eligible for UAE licensure authorities.
• 5-7 years post-specialization experience in hematopathology.
• Expertise in flow cytometry and molecular hematopathology.
• Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and report complex hematopathology cases, including bone marrow, lymph nodes, and blood disorders.
• Integrate morphology, flow cytometry, cytogenetics, and molecular findings into reports.
• Participate in MDT discussions and provide consults.
• Ensure compliance with quality, accreditation, and patient safety standards.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to protocol development.
• Support development of diagnostic protocols aligned with best practices.
