Role Context

This role focuses on managing a wide range of benign hematological disorders, ensuring evidence-based patient care, and contributing to education, research, and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage benign hematological conditions including anemia, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, bleeding disorders, and hemoglobinopathies
• Interpret bone marrow biopsies, peripheral blood smears, and laboratory investigations
• Collaborate with internal medicine, oncology, and transfusion teams for integrated care
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case discussions
• Contribute to clinical audits, governance, and quality improvement initiatives
• Provide teaching and mentorship to junior doctors and allied healthcare staff

Ideal Profile

• Medical degree with specialization in Hematology
• Board certification such as CCT, FRCP, FRCPath, American Board, or equivalent
