KIRIN NOVA REAL ESTATE L.L.C S.O.C is seeking a Senior Hardware Abstraction Layer Specialist to design and maintain HALs for embedded systems, enabling reliable software-to-hardware interaction. This fully remote role focuses on portable interfaces, device drivers, and cross-platform compatibility across processors.

The ideal candidate has strong C/C++ skills, experience with ARM Cortex architectures, and a track record of integrating HALs with RTOS or embedded Linux for diverse hardware

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 5–8 years in embedded software, firmware, device drivers, or low-level systems engineering.
• Strong C and C++ skills with register-level programming.
• Experience developing HALs, BSPs, or device drivers for embedded platforms.
• Knowledge of ARM Cortex-M/A architectures.

Mansioni

• Design and develop hardware abstraction layers for embedded systems and processor-based platforms.
• Implement reusable interfaces for GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C, timers, DMA, and interrupts.
• Develop and maintain device drivers interfacing with hardware registers and peripherals.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and firmware teams for integrated solutions.
• Optimize HAL performance, memory usage, and resource management.
• Ensure portability across microcontroller families and board configurations.
• Integrate HAL with RTOS, embedded Linux, bootloaders, and BSPs.
• Create unit tests, hardware-in-the-loop tests, and diagnostic utilities.
• Review specifications and datasheets to implement accurate low-level interfaces.
• Maintain technical documentation and coding standards.
