Halian seeks a Senior Software Engineer to develop, integrate, and maintain embedded flight-control software for advanced autonomous platforms. The role is hands-on, covering real-time embedded development, autopilot integration, hardware/software integration, platform security, system bring-up, debugging, validation, and testing.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, reliable, production-quality software across the full development lifecycle, contributing to architecture

Competenze

• 8+ years of embedded software engineering experience.
• 5+ years with flight controllers, autopilot software, avionics or safety-critical embedded systems.
• Hands-on development, hardware integration, testing, and production release.
• Experience in autonomous systems, aerospace, robotics, UAVs, or similar environments.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain embedded flight-control software for real-time systems.
• Integrate software with sensors, interfaces, processors, and peripherals.
• Platform bring-up, software integration, debugging, validation, and optimization.
• Bench testing, simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, system integration, and field testing.
• Contribute to architecture reviews, design reviews, and engineering documentation.
• Integrate embedded security, secure boot, and trusted execution features.
• Git-based workflows: branching, PRs, code reviews, and release management.
• Support CI/CD, automated builds, testing, packaging, and firmware deployment.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, security, test, manufacturing and DevOps teams.
• Drive software quality, defect resolution, static analysis, and security verification.
