Job summary

KPMG Middle East Careers in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Risk Consultant to conduct comprehensive risk assessments for clients in the energy/oil, gas, or process industries. You will develop tailored risk management strategies and provide advisory services on regulatory compliance, governance, and internal controls.

The role calls for collaboration with cross-functional teams, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple projects, travel on client engagements, and support

Qualifications

• Engineering degree and master's with relevant certifications (Electrical/Chemical/Mechanical/Petroleum).
• 4–7 years in Consulting, preferably Big 4 with industry knowledge.
• Strong presentation and data analytics skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of Operations, Maintenance, HSE, Asset management, Risk Management, Policies, Procedures, Strategy, Market Research.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and analyses for clients in the above-mentioned industry.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies tailored to meet the specific needs of clients.
• Provide advisory services on regulatory compliance, governance, and internal controls within the above-mentioned sector.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions and insights to clients.
• Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in risk management.
• Assist in the preparation of client presentations and reports, communicating complex risk concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Engage with clients to understand their business objectives and tailor consulting services to address their unique challenges.
• Be able to demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects, strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Be comfortable working with databases and all applications of Microsoft suite.
• Willing to travel on client engagements and work flexible hours.
• Ability to work on proposals and support leadership for business development
