Job summary

KPMG Middle East Careers in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Associate/Consultant to join Advisory - Governance, Risk and Compliance. You will contribute to risk-based internal audit, governance, internal control reviews and enterprise risk management across the energy, manufacturing and utilities sectors.

Role requires 4+ years in consulting (Big 4 preferred), strong data analytics, and MS Office proficiency. Travel to client sites and flexible hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Engineer and master's with relevant certifications.
• Prefer Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum engineering.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Consulting, preferably Big 4.
• Strong presentation and data analytics skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Good understanding of Operations, Maintenance, HSE, Asset management, Risk Management, Policies, Procedures, Strategy, ISO Standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyses for clients in the specified industries.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies tailored to client needs.
• Provide advisory services on regulatory compliance, governance and internal controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
• Assist in client presentations and reports, communicating risk clearly.
• Engage with clients to understand objectives and tailor consulting services.
• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects with leadership and analytical skills.
• Work with databases and Microsoft applications; travel on engagements.

Education And Qualifications

• Education Background: Engineer + master’s with relevant certifications - preferably Electrical / Chemical/Mechanical/ Petroleum Engineer.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Consulting, preferably Big 4 with good understanding of above-mentioned industry.
• Great presentation and data analytics skills (MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
