Job summary

KPMG Lower Gulf in the United Arab Emirates seeks a senior professional to lead quality and risk management activities within Advisory. You will assist the F-QPLP/F-RMP with day-to-day initiatives, and drive procedures for large transformation projects to meet global and local policies.

The role requires 6-7 years of risk, internal audit, or compliance experience, with strong knowledge of QA policies and a proactive mindset for practical business solutions. A Big 4 background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field is required.
• MBA or professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CFE, ACAMS) is an advantage.
• Minimum 6-7 years of experience in risk management, internal audit, compliance, or related field.
• Excellent knowledge of global and local quality and risk management policies and procedures.
• Strong ability to deliver practical solutions and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist the F-QPLP/F-RMP in day-to-day advisory quality and risk management initiatives across Advisory.
• Lead risk management procedures for large transformation projects exceeding thresholds, ensuring compliance with policies.
• Promote a culture of quality, compliance, ethics, and integrity throughout the organization.
• Maintain understanding of local regulatory requirements and update internal policies accordingly.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks; escalate breaches and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare ad-hoc risk reports and presentations for management as required.
